Detroit's Few and Far Between certainly isn't reinventing the wheel with its melding of '80s post-hardcore, modern indie-rock and a polished, radio-ready sheen. But many bands attempting the same type of thing would be lucky to have half of the group's knack for driving hooks and melodic tact, both displayed on its 2009 album, We're All Safe. Now based out of Brooklyn, NY and working on a follow-up record, Few and Far Between seems poised and ready to take some big next steps.
