Shane Bunting is a Canadian rapper known professionally as Madchild. A founding member of the Vancouver-based rap group Swollen Members, his career grew consistently throughout the early 2000s. Following a brief period of personal troubles in the second half of the decade, which also saw a decline in his professional growth, Bunting released his first solo EP The Madchild in 2009. He followed it up with his first full-length album Dope Sick in 2012, which was released via Battle Axe Records. The following year, he dropped Lawn Mower Man which peaked at number two on the Canadian Albums Chart. His top songs include "DNA," "Bad News," "Sober," "White Trash," "D******d," "Zombie" and "Jackel."
