DJ Pauly D a.k.a. Paul DelVecchio is an Italian-American DJ, better known as the reality co-star of MTV show Jersey Shore. Pauly D does not produce any of his own music, and generally plays music in the electro-house genre which relies on whooshing sweep effects and "drops," a way of describing a track that builds with anticipation and then has a catchy main musical theme. Pauly D is very proud of his Italian-American heritage and even displays the Italian flag on his DJ headphones. He spends 25 minutes on his hair a day.
