Camera Obscura

Sentimental, Scottish and sometimes saccharine, Camera Obscura has managed to build a respectable name for itself since its formation in 1996. With trumpets, strings and guitars behind the distinctive vocal stylings of Tracyanne Campbell create a uniquely vintage sound that sounds extremely characteristic of the Scottish group. Though the membership of the band is never quite set in stone, the Glasgow outfit’s albums have garnered critical success.
