Bert Visscher

Bert Visscher is a Dutch comedian, and is considered to be one of the greatest entertainers to emerge out of the Netherlands. After getting his start performing with local Dutch theaters in the late-80s, Bert Visscher broke out into the Netherlands' mainstream comedy scene in the 90s with multiple awards, television appearances and films to his name. In 2007, Visscher was awarded the prestigious honor of being appointed as a Knight of the Order of Orange-Nassau, an appointment awarded to some of the Netherlands' most important cultural icons.
