Gypsyblood

Founded in 2009 after the breakup of their previous band, Adam James and Kyle Victor started Gypsyblood, a new project that emphasizes fuzzed-out guitars, lo-fi production values and an overall vibe that encourages dirty, sweaty parties. Unlike a lot of lo-fi bands, who hide their hooks under an ocean of distortion, Gypsyblood's melodies are pushed to the foreground, standing on the front line, toe-to-toe with all the nastiness. It's a smart plan because James and Victor are adept at effortlessly crafting earworm-worthy vocal lines and chord progressions.
