Drawing comparisons to high-profile Brit-pop bands such as Oasis and early Radiohead, Stereo Is a Lie is an up-and-coming rock band from Austin, Texas. The group's self-titled debut album was released in 2011 and has quickly won over audiences that appreciate shoegaze-tinged alternative rock. With a blend of both British and American band members, the Austin band has done a commendable job keeping the Brit-pop style alive, lining up an appearance at the popular South By Southwest music festival in 2012.
