The Echocentrics

The Echocentrics is a band from Austin, Texas that came about as a project by multiple Grammy Award nominee, Adrian Quesada. Joined by Argentinian singer Natalia Clavier and Brazil native Tita Lima, The Echocentrics describe the sound of their multilingual debut album, Sunshadow as being "southern-fried, laid back and psychedelic-tinged"--a list of adjectives that immediately invites the curiosity of even the most discerning listeners. The band dispenses with any pretensions toward originality, and are not afraid to celebrate the long list of influences that inform their music, particularly the lesser-known pioneers of Latin music located south of the border.
