Aislyn

Brooklyn duo Aislyn combines rock instrumentation with electronic elements and a touch of Italo-disco, to a sound that relies on textures as much as melody and song structure. Formed by Ian Hultquist, of indie/bro band Passion Pit, and Italian-born Sofia Degli Alessandri, the group formed in 2009 and has since remixed tracks for artists like Dom and Freelance Whales, winning Aislyn attention on the indie music scene. The group's debut, self-titled EP was released in January of 2010.
