Henry Roland named his funk group Henry + The Invisibles for good reason, he's the only member. He also aptly named his 2010 debut LP Onemanphunkband because he plays every instrument on the record. When playing live, Roland employs modern music technology like samplers, loops and drum machines to replicate his studio sound. Never one to shy away from doing more than one thing at the same time, when playing live Roland sings into a microphone while reaching behind himself to pluck a bass and then quickly switching over to mini synthesizer while he looping his voic to create stacked harmonies.
