The Flying Karamazov Brothers (also known as FKB) are a comedy in juggling group that have gone from their Santa Cruz, California street artist roots in 1973 to the international stage phenomenon they are today. The troupe's name is taken from the iconic Russian novel by Fyodor Dostoevsky, The Brothers Karamazov, and the "Flying Brothers" often draw parallels between themselves and the brothers of the novel. The Brothers' perform a wide range of acts on stage, from more conventional variety shows that highlight the troupe's juggling prowess to entire comedic re-imaginings of dramatic works such as Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors, which was televised and performed to incredible critical and audience acclaim at New York's Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in 1987.
