The Baltimore Orioles are a Major League Baseball team and a member of the American League East Division. The Orioles are one of the eight American League charter teams, founded in 1901 as the Milwaukee Brewers. After only one season in Milwaukee, the team moved to St. Louis, where they became the St. Louis Browns. The team then moved to Baltimore in 1954, after 52 seasons in St. Louis and became the Baltimore Orioles. The best players to put on the Orioles uniform include Cal Ripken Jr., Brooks Robinson, and Frank Robinson.
