One of Baltimore's best features is its vibrant arts scene which is the product of hundreds of talented artists, musicians and writers who live and work here. Each July the city celebrates these people with a three-day festival held along Mount Royal Avenue near the Maryland Institute College of Art. There are poetry readings, gallery shows, street theater, musical performances, and just about everything else that's creatively inspired. There are also workshops, competitions, and of course, plenty of good food.
