Mr. Big is a metal band that rose out of the burgeoning Los Angeles glam metal scene during the 1980s. Initially active between 1988 and 2002, the group released a self-titled debut album with Atlantic Records in 1989 and embarked on its first US tour in support of Rush. Mr. Big broke into mainstream audiences with its follow-up LP, 1991's Lean Into It, which featured the hit songs "To Be with You" and "Just Take My Heart." As band tensions rose towards the end of the 1990s with members focusing on other projects, Mr. Big played a farewell show in 2002. After a few years the group reunited released a seventh LP, titled What If... in 2011, re-energizing its international following, particularly in Japan.
