Originally known as the International Video Festival, the spectrum of the Transmediale has now broadened to include an array of multimedia art. In addition to videos, visitors can admire an array of computer games and interactive installations. The Transmediale takes place every February at the same time as the Berlin Film Festival in the Haus der Kulturen der Welt and the Podewil, as well as at a number of smaller venues. The Club Transmediale (media art and music) runs parallel to the main event. Please check the event's website for a complete program and a list of venues.
