Mary Lambert is a singer/songwriter and spoken word artist who is renowned for her emotive voice and gay rights activism. With highly personal lyrics driving songs like "Same Love," released Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, her 2013 single "She Keep Me Warm," the Washington native established herself as a courageous and poignant songwriter who isn't afraid to use her struggles as the power source for her music. Lambert released her debut EP, Letter Don't Talk, in 2012, followed quickly by 2013's Welcome to the Age of My Body.
