Every year in May, Bonn is bedlam. The biggest and longest firework display in the Rheinauen attracts more than a hundred thousand spectators. People sit everywhere on the slopes, listen to the music and enjoy the great vibe. When it gets dark, 100 ships travel down the Rhine from Koblenz to the Bonn Rheinauen. All of the ships are colorfully lit and play party music. Then the firework display takes place and celebrations continue until the early hours of the morning. Entry is free. Boat tickets are available.
