Founded in 1936, the Brandon Wheat Kings are one of the most successful Canadian junior ice hockey teams in the Western Hockey League, having won the title on three different occasions in 1979, 1996, and 2016. Their impressive resume also boasts of being eight-time Turnbull Cup champions. The team's competitive matches have been hosted at the acclaimed Keystone Centre since 1972.
