With slightly over the top stage personas, the Australian electronic music duo Empire of the Sun manages to come off as a bit strange with the clothes both members wear and the makeup they put on. But behind the elaborate costumes and face paint are two musicians make some of the more interesting synth pop of the 21st century. The group released its debut LP, Walking on a Dream, in 2008 and since then the duo has managed to expand its listener base quite significantly with an extremely theatrical stage show.
