Formed in Los Angeles in 1995, Buckcherry is a rock band that received commercial success with its 1999 self-titled debut album. Despite its early boost in record sales, the band dissolved in 2002 after a disappointing sophomore effort and an unfinished third album. During the hiatus, front man Josh Todd and guitarist Kieth Nelson collaborated on other projects including a short run with Guns N' Roses members that was eventually canned. Todd and Nelson reformed Buckcherry in 2005 and released the album 15 to the same enthusiasm and critical acclaim as the band's debut effort. With its rediscovered success, the band toured as part of Mötley Crüe's Crüe Fest, shortly after releasing Black Butterlfy in 2008, and accompanied KISS on its 2009 to 2010 North American tour.
