Jenny Clare Hargreaves is an author and stand-up comedian who goes by the monicker Jenny Eclair. After constructing her style on stages around London throughout the 1980s, Eclair began earning recognition for her work on the 1990s Channel 4 comedy series titled Packet of Three, as well as the follow-up series Packing Them In. In 1995, Eclair became the first woman to win the Edinburgh Festival Perrier Comedy Award. She has since starred in a number of British television programs including Grumpy Old Women, which develop in the 2000s with her honest and unapologetic perspective on middle-aged, middle class life.
