Boston singer/songwriter Juliana Hatfield is something of an underground legend within the 1990s alternative rock and grunge genres, emerging alongside a unique collection of female rock singers during a time when the tides were changing in rock music as a whole. Hatfield has recorded over a dozen albums, both as a solo artist, and as a member of Blake Babies and Some Girls. Hatfield was a frequent presence on MTV during the early 1990s with her song "My Sister," she made the cover of Spin and became a major draw on Sarah McLaughlin's Lilith Fair tour.
