Held in the month of June annually, DARK MOFO is a wintertime version of Mona Foma It is a celebration of darkness of winter solstice and explores the connection between darkness and light with nighttime exhibitions, food music and offside theater productions. Major highlights of this festival include the ogoh-ogoh parade, Winter Feast on Hobart’s waterside docks and the controversial Nude Solstice Swim. Performances of international artists and musicians enliven the whole town of Hobart.
