It's hard to imagine listening to the basstastic beats of Swedish House Mafia outside of a packed club that's stifling with sweaty bodies. The electronic trio compose dance floor friendly electronic music that is fairly simplistic and almost animalistic in nature. When people listen to this music they want to dance. They don't want to think or contemplate about the composition, they'd rather get down with the house thuds permeating through the speakers and move their bodies to the trio's electronic grooves. The group dissolved in 2013 and in 2014 released a documentary, Leave the World Behind, focused on their last year of touring. In March 2018, Swedish House Mafia reunited with a suprise appearance at Ultra, electronic music festival in Miami.
