Hailing from Montreal, Gino Vannelli is a pop singer/songwriter who has been crafting a soul-infused blend of soft rock and pop since the early 1970s. After relocating to Los Angeles and signing with A&M Records, he released his debut album Crazy Life, in 1973, and quickly found commercial success. Vannelli made his television debut on the iconic program Soul Train, in 1975, and subsequently earned a national following on tour with Stevie Wonder. Having built an extensive catalog of records over his decades-long career, Vannelli has proven himself a lasting pop star in a consistently changing musical landscape.
