Lee Founder's Weekend Celebration

The town of Lee is alive with the sounds of cymbals and marching bands traveling down historic tree-lined Main Street during Founder's Weekend. The annual birthday event celebrates living history amidst the town's quaint "mom and pop" five-and-dime, barber and hardware shops. Horse-drawn wagons, fiddlers and gentlemen and ladies in colonial garb are all part of the activities, reminiscent of gentler days.
