Best known as the original vocalist for the iconic heavy metal outfit Iron Maiden, Paul Di'Anno is a London-based singer/songwriter and musician who has fronted several different bands over the span of his career. After he was fired from Iron Maiden in 1981, he started his own band, the short-lived project Di'Anno, and went on to play with various outfits including Battlezone, Paul Di'Anno's Killers and The Original Iron Men. He released his debut solo album The World's First Iron Man, in 1997, while continuing to dabble in previously formed projects. As Di'Anno moved forward with his solo career, he eventually revisited Iron Maiden material on records including 2006's The Maiden Years: The Classics, and The Early Iron Maiden Songbook from 2010.
