Mahoning Music Series: THE BEATLES In A HARD DAY'S NIGHT (on 35mm)
On Sunday, July 7th, The Mahoning Drive-In Theater’s “Mahoning Music Series” celebrates the Fab Four with a rarer-than-a-Butcher Cover 35mm screening of Richard Lester’s rock and roll comedy classic A HARD DAY’S NIGHT (1964), starring…The Beatles!
Get ready to “Twist And Shout” as we celebrate the music and legacy of John, Paul, George and Ringo in their first full-length, hilarious, action packed film! Featuring six then-new songs, plus your Beatles favorites! See a slightly-fictionalized version of the Beatles as they rehearse for a live TV appearance, while dodging screaming fans, getting into sometimes surreal adventures, accompanied by their manager, roadie, and a “very clean” old man.
You’ll have to search “Here, There And Everywhere” for “Eight Days A Week” all “Across The Universe” to find another Beatles screening as fab as this! We hope Beatles fans will take “The Long and Winding Road” to Lehighton, PA to join us for this all-time classic on 35mm, along with record vendors, a live all-Beatles DJ set and more fun to be announced before the sun sets,
If you miss this show, you’ll say to yourself, “I Should Have Known Better”! Now “I’ll Cry Instead!” “Wait”! “You Can’t Do That”! “Come Together” with us and join the fun on July 7th! “It Won’t Be Long” (yeah)!
Gates open at 6pm. Showtime at Sundown.
General Ticket: $8 (per person). Kids General Ticket: $5 (under 13yrs).General + Extended Pass: $16 (per person).
