In 1996, a few German musicians, who shared a common love of skulls, dead things and the dark arts, decided to form a band: Samsas Traum. During this time, there was a musical movement called neue Deutsche harte (which literally translates as new German hardness) that was quite popular. The style of music combines elements of metal, electronic music and industrial to create a fairly interesting sound. The group Samsas Traum is one of the lesser know bands of the scene, but the group's characteristic sound has won over a small but dedicated group of fans that'll do nearly anything in reverence to prove their devotion to the group.
