The Dirty Strangers? if you don?t know by now the relationship to Britain?s biggest band (Keith and Ronnie especially) with this legendary London rock roll band then it?s time to get from under that Rolling Stone and take notice of Dirty Al and co.
Lots of Stones influences for sure but the Strangers put a great pop sensibility into their blues, and administer growly rocknroll with a hint of punk and a nod to power pop. Excellent band. Sure to be a great party.
Soho Dukes ? ?World renowned, critically acclaimed, electrically powered, rascally rock and roll??wouldn?t disagree there! The perfect accompaniment for yer Dirty Strangers too.
Pelikan Rouge ? Hard rock and fizzy commercial pop melded together beautifully. A nice straight down the middle melodic vocal that has more of a new wave vibe, so it?s a bit of an enigmatic mix, but truly works well, and they?re all really good players. From Ayr, Scotland. Please give them a big Dublin Castle welcome tonight.
