London-based rock band Archive is an electronic/progressive rock act that was formed in 1994 by Darius Keeler and Danny Griffiths after the dissolution of their former breakbeat group, Genaside II. Keeler and Griffiths joined forces with vocalist Roya Arab and rapper Rosko John to release Archive's debut album, Londinium, in 1996 with a mix of dark trip hop, electronica and breakbeat sounds sewn together with electronic guitar arrangements. Arab and John left the group shortly after the album release, but Archive continued with several different lineups and went on to release seven more albums between 1999 and 2012. The band dropped its eighth studio album, With Us Until You're Dead, in 2012.
