A CELLARFUL OF NOISE PRESENTS... THURSDAY 21ST NOVEMBER THE CAVENDISH ARMS, STOCKWELL 7.30PM - 11.00PM £5 UNWAGED / £10 WAGED / £12 OTD - - - - B.A. JOHNSTON is a Canadian musician known for his unique style of humorous and often absurd lyrics, combined with an eclectic mix of punk, rock, and folk music. He has been a prominent figure in the Canadian music scene since the early 2000s, and his music has gained a dedicated following across the country.
SCHANDE move effortlessly from discordantly fuzzy indie rock to shimmering melody. California-born Jen Chochinov has been crafting catchy, propulsive rock in DIY circles since the early 1990s. Since relocating to London in 2013, she has continued playing shows throughout the UK and US both solo and with her full band. The current line-up is completed by two fellow expats, drummer Ryan Grieve from Canada, and bassist Gio Villaraut from Italy. Their upcoming album, Once Around, is set for release imminently via The Daydream Library Series, the house record label of Ecstatic Peace Library operated by Thurston & Eva Moore.
PANIC POCKET are a bff indie pop duo (sometimes performing with "rock mode" rhythm section). Their cathartic musical storytelling about shaking off bad relationships, the life-changing nature of female-friendship and the perils of online dating, is delivered with a wry sense of humour and an undeniable charm.
