Blackbeard's Tea Party is a contemporary folk act based out of York, England that plays an assortment of classical folk tunes as well as more recent, pop and rock friendly material during live performances. Founded in 2009, the band first started out busking on the streets before solidifying its sound and playing various folk festivals and music venues around the UK. The group released its debut LP, Tomorrow We'll Be Sober, in 2011 and the album's original songs helped establish Blackbeard's Tea Party as a band that's unafraid to look at both the past and the present for musical inspiration.
