Adapted from Edith Nesbit's classic children's book, the stage production of The Railway Children not only features the original characters of the story but also a 140 year-old Stirling Single steam locomotive. The theatrical event is staged in a newly created 1,000 seat theater at Waterloo Station's old Eurostar terminal where the vintage locomotive enters the stage. In this adaptation by Mike Kenny, the children, Roberta, Peter and Phylis narrate as they re-enact their memories as "Railway Children."
