Kingston Trio was one of the more popular groups to emerged out of America's infatuation with folk music in the late 50s and early 60s. The band has experienced its fair share of ups and downs over its long years of existence, but the group has continually managed to keep its guitar and banjo picking skills intact and respectable. Comprised of three members, who each play a stringed instrument, Kingston Trio is a group that might sound a bit outdated compared to most standards, but after listening to the adept musicianship and tuneful singing emanating from all the members, listeners can't help but admire, and hopefully enjoy, the Trio's music.
