Antonio Hardy, who performs and releases music under his Big Daddy Kane moniker, is a Grammy Award-winning rapper from New York who started his career in 1986 as a member of the influential rap group Juice Crew. Widely considered to be one of the more skilled rappers and known for his ability as an adept lyricist during rap's golden age, he left a huge influence on subsequent generations of rappers and hip-hop artists. Though Juice Crew officially broke up in 1991, Hardy has carried on with well respected solo endeavors, that find him carrying on an already impressive musical career.
