John Moreland is an Americana and alternative country singer/songwriter from Oklahoma. He's fronted various outfits such as the defunct Black Gold Band and the Dust Bowl Souls, he's best-known as a solo acoustic performer. Moreland released his first solo album Earthbound Blues, in 2011, to universal acclaim along critics and peers. After dropping his third solo LP, High on Tulsa Heat, in 2015, he went on to open for artists such as Patty Griffin and Jason Isbell, expanding his reach to audiences across the US.
