Baxter Dury is an indie pop/rock musician from the UK who started making music in 2001. Son of Ian Dury, front-man of English rock band Ian Dury and the blockheads, Baxter grew up connected to the music industry but waited until he was nearly 30 years old to release any of his own music. He released his debut single "Oscar Brown," to critical acclaim, prompting interest in his 2002 album, Len Parrot's Memorial Lift. After switching to Parlophone records, Dury released his thoughtful dream pop album, Happy Soup, in 2011.
