After Conor O'Brien was kicked out of Irish alternative rock band The Immediate he was in a disheveled state of mind and decided to drain his sorrows with a night of heavy drinking at his local pub. Waking up in a extremely dehydrated and groggy state of mind, O'Brien decided to write a song about his moral fortitude. After hearing what he created, O'Brien decided to gather a group of musicians and create a band who shared the same musical ideals. The group released its debut album, Becoming a Jackal, in 2010 and plays a unique form of modern indie rock material.
