By using a wide variety of samples in his songs as well as an eclectic blend of low end tones, British electronic music composer Simon Green (aka Bonobo) has managed to establish himself as one of the more prominent names in the downtempo music scene. After spending a good deal of time on the road throughout the 2000s, supporting his critically acclaimed albums Dial M for Monkey and Days to Come, Green started performing his music with the a full band rather than solo with the aid of a laptop and electronic switchboard. This ability to play electronic compositions with live instrumentals helped further Green's reputation and propel his standing as one of the more noteworthy names in the electronic scene.
