The Franklin Electric is a folk-pop band composed of Jon Matte, Kevin Warren, Jean-Sebastien Leblanc, Johnny Griffin and Liam Killen. Initially founded as a trio, the group evolved into a five-piece outfit before rising to attention in 2012, when its song "Old Piano" won first place in the Nashville songwriting competition. The Franklin Electric released its debut album, This Is How I Let You Down, in 2014, showcasing its ambient guitar stylings, tight harmonies and brass highlights.
