Eric Bachmann is a folk singer/songwriter and musicians who is well-known as the lead singer of both Crooked Fingers and Archers of Loaf. Hailing from North Carolina and raised in South Carolina, Tennessee and Florida, he cultivated a dusty-boot indie sound and released his first work under his own name, the film score for Ball of Wax, titled Short Careers. Bachmann dropped his next record, To the Races, with Saddle Creek Records in 2006. Between his own releases, including 2011's Breaks in the Armor, he somehow finds time for various collaborations, appearing on records like Spoon's 2005 album Gimme Fiction and even joined Neko Case's touring band in 2013.
