Coming from a rather comedic family, Hari Kondabolu is the older brother of Ashok Kondabolu--member of the comedy rap group Das Racist. Like his brother, Hari deals with fairly serious topics like racism, poverty and stereotypes surrounding Indian culture in American media, in a satirical manner. His stand-up has been featured both in the US and UK, most prominently on Comedy Central, Jimmy Kimmel and HBO.
