Jonathan Toubin never intended to be a DJ, but when he got fed up with all of the shallow, sterile club music he was exposed to, he took matters into his own hands, bought some turntables and started DJing parties and bars all over New York City. Toubin's style is off-the-cuff and playful, as he's known to spin anything from 1960s French pop, to soul and garage rock. Somehow, he manages to make it all hang together perfectly, which has made him a popular pick for party-goers and bar-hoppers looking for an eclectic and hip soundtrack to their evening. His increasing notoriety around New York has allowed him to branch out a bit, performing sets all over the East Coast and at notable music festival after-parties.
