Bangladeafy! is an experimental/progressive rock duo from New York City that raised some attention on the city's thriving music scene through an incredibly thought-provoking, but ultimately entertaining brand of instrumental jamming. Comprised of partially deaf bass player/vocalist John Ehlers and drummer Atif Haq, who hails from Bangladesh, India--making it evident to new listeners that their special qualities combine to create the band's name: Bangla + deafy! Although the duo has no special predilection for making it big in the music industry, many critics and fans familiar with their work have a feeling that the two experimental instrumentalists will be playing music to their heart's content for quite some time to come.
