Martin Stephenson, has been playing the club since it first opened its doors. The local singer-songwriter based in the Highlands was recently featured on Billy Connolly?s BBC documentary, as Billy is a huge fan. Martin?s songs are a glorious mix of the music we love: folk, country, jazz & heartfelt pop
He will be accompanied by Rupert Hughes , the highly acclaimed guitarist with bluegrass band ?The Often Herd? & earlier The Kentucky Cowtippers..
Rob Heron ( & His Tea Pad Orchestra ) has been playing the Jumpin Hot club for over a decade or so. His very own dazzling songs and music are inspired from bygone years, well before he was even born.
Errant Moose are Phillipa Ogden & Phoebe Stephenson. A relatively new & exciting acoustic duo (fiddle/guitar) They are old time & bluegrass enthusiasts from the two Shields (North & South) & it?s perhaps the new bluegrass sound of Newcastle.
And finally Shipcote is the songwriter in Shipcote & Friends. He writes quirky heartfelt songs, He is the co-founder of The Jumpin Hot Club & is the author of the widely acclaimed ?Jumpin Hot Club - Where Good Music Belongs? book.
