Steve Gadd is an internationally acclaimed drummer and percussionist who is primarily known for his session work. An alumnus of the Eastman School of Music, Gadd's background in jazz has contributed to his career as a prolific and sought-after rock 'n' roll drummer. He has played alongside musicians spanning a wide range of genres, including Frank Sinatra, the Manhattan Jazz Quintet, Jon Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton and The Bee Gees, and has even collaborated with the legends Eric Clapton and B.B. King on their album Riding with the King. In recognition of the respect he commands in the music industry, Gadd was inducted into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame in 1984. Gadd still works in the studio with a variety of artists, as well as on his own projects, making and playing new music live.
