Dana Krall is a singer/songwriter and jazz pianist who rose to fame for her soft rock tunes. After starting off her music career studying jazz and playing in small jazz groups, Krall released her debut album, Stepping Out, in 1993. This highlighted her poignant songwriting and reflected a deep yearning for an intrinsic lifestyle. She first earned industry acclaim with her third album, All for You: A Dedication to the Nat King Cole Trio. Krall has gained notoriety for her various live performances with the legendary pop crooner Tony Bennett. Krall is now located in New York City and married to fellow singer/songwriter Elvis Costello, with whom she co-wrote an album.
