Smif-N-Wessun is a hip-hop duo made up of rappers Tek and Steele, who are also part of the 8-piece collective Boot Camp Clik. The pair is known for using Jamaican Patois dialect in their tracks, setting itself apart from the crowd and paying homage to its roots. Since releasing its debut album Dah Shinin' in 1995, Smif-N-Wessun's been setting a new standard for reggae-inspired hip-hop with forward-thinking albums like 2011's Monumental.
