This Pulitzer Prize winning play written by Alfren Uhry follows the often comedic and tumultuous relationship between a wealthy Southern Jewish woman and her African American chauffeur. The original play ran on Broadway for several years and inspired the Academy Award winning 1989 film of the same name. The show was revived in 2010, starring film legends James Earl Jones and Vanessa Redgrave.
